Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by a delegate
A delegate who wishes to cancel should write to the Secretariat at boarc@cac.gov.ng, quoting the reference on the payment invoice. Refunds are made as follows:

2. Substitution
A registered delegate may be replaced by a colleague from the same organisation at no cost, provided the Secretariat is notified in writing, with the details of both persons, not later than 48 hours before the opening session.
3. Visa refusal
An international delegate whose Nigerian visa application is refused will be refunded in full, less bank and card charges, on presentation of the official refusal notice to the Secretariat before 5 November 2026.
4. Cancellation or postponement by the organisers
If the conference is cancelled by the organisers, all registration fees will be refunded in full. If the conference is postponed, registrations carry over to the new dates, or are refunded in full where the delegate so requests.
5. Payment of refunds
Approved refunds are paid to the account or card from which payment was originally made, within 30 days of approval. Bank and payment-gateway charges are not refundable.
6. Sponsorships
Sponsorship commitments are governed by the confirmation issued to each sponsor by the Secretariat and are treated on their own terms. Sponsorship funds already applied to the production of the conference are not refundable.
7. Fees and taxes
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira and are invoiced as published. Any applicable taxes or charges arising from the method of payment are handled at the point of payment. A receipt quoting the invoice number is issued on verification of payment. Organisations requiring withholding-tax or other fiscal documentation should contact the Secretariat before making payment.
